About

John Bagnulo has an MPH from the University of North Carolina and a Doctorate of Human Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Maine. He has worked as a researcher, a university associate professor, and a clinical consultant for the past 27 years. He currently serves as the Director of Nutrition for Nutritional Medicinals, a faculty member for the Center for Mind Body Medicine, Washington DC, and has a remote clinical practice based out of Hanover, NH. He supports individuals with a wide variety of health concerns, chronic diseases and goals. Much of his clinical practice is with athletes and those involved in physically demanding sports.

In addition to his passion for increasing the public’s knowledge and awareness around the subject of how food and agriculture influence patterns of health and disease, John is an advocate for youth sports. “Sports and physical activity help kids see the relationship between how they take care of themselves and what their potential is. Once a kid starts to eat differently they quickly see improvements in how they think and perform, everything becomes clear to them at a young age.”

John has spent considerable time climbing in many of the World’s remote mountain ranges and summited Mt. Everest in 2006 as part of a self-reliant, two-man team. Currently, John lives with his family in Hanover, New Hampshire.
